PERSONALITY: Kairi is definitely a little bubbly. She's always been a happy-go-lucky kind of girl. She is the type of person that will be your best friend when you need her. She loves to help her friends and sisters with their studies. She wants to be the girl that her sisters come to when they are having boy problems or something girlie. Yes Kairi my be a bit of a tomboy but she is a girl. Kairi tends to radiate innocence, but really, only her family know that she can have a bit of a dirty mind. She loves making jokes, and when she thinks something is funny, be it a "thats what she said" joke she laughs. Kairi enjoys laughing, it's something she does best. and she always always has a smile on her face.
During the time of her mothers passing and Dustin's accident, Kairi went into a depression. She would hardly speak to anyone, and was constantly writing. She kept a journal around with her everywhere. It was like she was a time bomb. Someone would say something rude, or mean about anyone, and she would just blow. Some people figured that Dustin was rubbing off on her, since he too was like this at the time. But Kairi was in real pain, and it was hard to even look herself in the mirror with everyone telling her that she looked like her mother.
But after that time passed, and Dustin was getting better. Kairi started being more happy. For her sake, and Dustin's. He was still in the hospital but she did try her best just to put a smile on his face.
HISTORY: Kenneth Towler graduated from Hogwarts before the war had really begun or ended. He went straight to work in the Ministry, moving out of his home and living in Hogsmeade in an appartment above The Three Broomsticks as he began his Auror training. He had thrown himself fully into becoming an Auror, and it wasn't until the war was over--because he had been busy fighting for and against the Ministry--that he finally calmed down and let his parents talk him into finding someone to settle down with. They knew a girl that had been a few years younger than him and was the daughter of a friend of theirs. Nancy Watts, a Muggle schoolteacher, and a beautiful one at that. She was a very kind girl, sweet and caring, and Ken fell for her right away. They dated for a while, and she was completely alright with the fact that he was a Wizard. She loved him, and they wanted to start a family together. After only two years of dating, they married in 2003. [copied from duuustin]
Kairi Renee was the second child of Kenneth and Nancy. Born on June 29, 2005. Kairi was a bright girl from the beginning. Her heart was made of gold even as a baby. She always had a smile on her face as she grew. She was so easy to take care of, it was impossible to lose her. As she grew older, she became more curious, and tried to be like Dustin at times. She would watch Dustin and the kids next door play ball. Wishing she could join them, it was too dangerous for her too though, and her mother wouldn't let her. Kairi attended the school her mother taught at up until she turned 11. She loved her fathers job, and the magical world. It amazed her that she throughout the years. She would watch with a twinkle in her green eyes as he did magic.
Kenneth and Nancy did have two more children after Dustin and Kairi. Jenna after Kairi and Annemarie after Jenna. Kairi, like Dustin, takes care of her little sisters, and her older brother for that matter. She knows a lot of things trouble him, and she tries her best to bring a smile to his face.
She thought for sure that she was going to be sorted into Ravenclaw the moment she stepped into the Great Hall, like her brother and her father. But as she stepped up the stairs, and the sorting hat was placed on her head and it called HUFFLEPUFF, she wanted to run away. Devastated, but didn't show it, she went and sat at the table and smiled at those around her. As the years passed, she knew that she had to be in the house, she connected so well with so many people. She was named quidditch chaser in her second year and fell in love with the game. It was something her mother would actually allow, and it was more dangerous than the games Dustin used to play when he was little.
In her fourth year, as every year she went home with her siblings for the holidays. Dustin was asked to play in an indoor football game. The day before new years, and Nancy let him. They were in the car coming home, the roads were bad, ice and snow everywhere. Kairi paced the floors worrying about them. She wouldn't have worried so much if the roads were clear, and that it was so late. The phone rang and her heart almost stopped. Her father broke down as she tried to hear what was going on. She later was in the car, driving to the accident scene. She learned that a drunk driver struck her mother and brother. Kairi felt like she couldn't breath. Nancy was killed instantly, and Dustin was left almost paralyzed.
When Kairi returned to school, her heart was broken and her usual happy spirit was crushed. Kairi took up writing in her spare time, just so she could cope, and wouldn't blow up on someone. People knew that she was hurting, and refused to bring up Nancy, or Dustin in a conversation when speaking with her. She quit the quidditch team, it hurt her a lot to do that, but Dustin couldn't play anymore. But she re-joined in her fifth year. During the summer holiday, she went and saw Dustin on a regular basis. He would only talk to her, and their father since he did blame himself. Kairi tried to make it him understand that it was no one's fault. But deep down she knew that he wouldn't listen.
Kairi was deeply thankful that she was in a magical family. Once she knew that Dustin could walk again, she was crying tears of joy. Kairi knew that he was fighter, and that he would make it. She was now in her 6th year, and was glad that he was coming back to Hogwarts. It was very gloomy for her without her brother around. But he was different, losing his temper on a few every once in a while. It scared her a bit how broken he was. But again was thankful that he decided to go into academics and study to become an auror like their father. BUt most of all, she was glad to have her brother back.
PHYSICAL: Kairi got most of her looks from her mother. She had her eyes, and her smile. Her hair would turn a bright blonde in the summer, but when winter rolled around, it turned sandy. She stands at 5'6 inches, and has all the right curves. PLAYED BY: Hayden Panettiere
other. Third person roleplaying Kairi zoomed around her yard in England. Her broom was a latest model and a gift from her father on her birthday. She felt a little guilty that she could still ride a boom, and Dustin couldn't. But she hoped he seemed happy to see her happy. Kairi loved the feeling of the wind in her hair during the fast motions of the broom. And it seemed that quidditch was so far away on this June day. She sighed finally landing onto the soft firm ground.
Kairi entered her home, giving Annemarie a little hug and a kiss. Her littlest sister loved Kairi a lot, and Kairi did spoil her. She took her on broom rides, even if their father didn't approve. She smiled and winked at him, knowing that she would take care of Annemarie. She wouldn't let anything harm her beloved little sister. Kairi smiled, and took her for another ride, wishing she could take Dustin..but he was still having problems about the whole accident. Kairi was too, it was hard accepting that her mother would never see them again.
First Person roleplaying: It's been almost a year since Mums passing. It's hard to even think about how much time has been since the...accident. And Dustin still blames himself. Poor thing, I know it's hard for him..but really it wasn't his fault. Sometimes I wish he would listen to me. I'm smart enough to know that if there is anyone to blame it's that drunk driver that slammed into them! Sometimes I just don't understand him.
I wonder...what would happen if Mum and Dustin didn't go out on that december night..Would everything just go back to normal? Or would it be different. Sometimes I wish I could go back. I know that Rose's mum has a time turner. Maybe I could borrow it, Dad would never let me though. I could try though...but I doubt that Hermione wouldn't even let Rose have it...hmm, I think way to much about this. But it is a good distraction.
